In terms of service, the front desk people at check in and out were professional but almost robot-like. Heard a fan or machinery somewhere close by all night, too. I kept thinking that some greenery would have infused some life and levity into it. Because of the dark tones and heavy wood trim, the room felt somewhat heavy and dark. I guess the idea is that you'd use the beautiful Pendleton throw for warmth it just wasn't large or thick enough to do the job. No fluffy duvet or warm blanket on the bed or as a spare-just a thin cotton coverlet and sheet. Stayed overnight earlier this week and while our room (possibly recently remodeled?) was tastefully decorated, the bed linens were so thin that we had to turn up the heat to stay warm. Have always been amazed by the wealth of native art throughout. We've stayed at the Tulalip several times and were pleased with the quality of the amenities and comfort of the rooms.
